By utilising Remote Installation Services (RIS) and Group Policy Objects (GPO) technologies from Microsoft Windows Server, pTWO Networks have developed tailored and customised build processes to deliver standard software builds to client machines on the network.

This automated method ensures that a company standard platform is deployed and reduces the engineering effort to merely answering a couple of questions. By adopting a standard deployment method, management and support are simplified, thus reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of the network infrastructure.
This gives you an opportunity to standardise and simplify your network infrastructure and reduce the TCO whether its 25 or 2500 workstations.
The standard build is constructed using the Operating System, either Windows 2000 or XP and any core Applications that are required, for example Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer. At build time all of the latest service packs and security fixes for the various products are integrated.
The key benefit of a RIS or Scripted deployment over and above disk imaging is the ability to support multiple hardware platforms from a single source. The build is constructed in layers from the Operating System up, which allows individual components to be tailored and modularised as required. Once deployed, the infrastructure can be managed by using Windows GPO's or other Network Management tools to deliver updates or further applications to the desktop, either as standard or by profile / group membership.
  • Reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Faster Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Standardisation of Company Infrastructure
  • Simplified environment to support and maintain
  • Reduction of re-work and faults, rapid time to fix or replace
  • Ability to deploy large numbers of units quickly and efficiently
  • Fully Tested and Robust
